JOB TYPE: Transmission Wastewater Reticulation / New Industrial Complex

This project presented several challenges, including integration work on an operational pump station experiencing high sewage flow rates and requiring scheduling around tidal conditions. These circumstances necessitated comprehensive dewatering measures, confined space entries, and substantial shoring. The gravity feed line was installed at a minimal grade, running 3 km along the main road into Waiuku, while navigating numerous existing utilities. Work hours were limited due to the residential setting and traffic management constraints. All excavated material for pipe installation was replaced with certified, compacted aggregate as per specifications. Despite these complexities, the team successfully met project deadlines, adhered to Watercare standards, and achieved the required grades and invert levels.
